Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of DrumTab, a site for discovering, creating and sharing drum tablature ("tabs"). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use DrumTab.

1. Who can use DrumTab

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or legal guardian, who is also responsible for your use of the site.

2. Your account

• Provide accurate information when you sign up and keep your email address up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done with your account. If you suspect misuse, change your password and let us know.
• Your username, display name, bio and public tabs are visible to anyone.
• You can ask us to delete your account at any time through the contact email.

3. Your content

The tabs, descriptions and other content you publish remain yours. By publishing, you grant us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, display and adapt that content (for example, to play it in the player or show it in other formats) solely to operate, promote and improve DrumTab.

Public tabs can be viewed by anyone. You also allow other users to copy them within DrumTab to create their own versions ("fork"), always crediting the original tab and you. This permission applies only within the site and does not allow your tab to be used outside it.

Draft and private tabs are visible only to you and cannot be copied by other users.

The license ends when you delete the tab or your account, except for backups kept for a limited time and for forks other users have already made of a public tab.

4. Music copyright

The songs transcribed in tabs belong to their songwriters and rights holders. By publishing a transcription, you confirm that it is your own work (or that you are allowed to publish it) and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. Do not publish sheet music, lyrics or recordings copied from other sources.

If you hold rights and believe content on DrumTab infringes them, write to contact@drumtab.club with the content (link), the work and the reason. We will review it and, where appropriate, remove the content.

5. What is not allowed

• Publishing content that is illegal, offensive, discriminatory, violent or infringes others' rights.
• Impersonating someone else or creating accounts to mislead other users.
• Sending spam, unauthorized advertising or content unrelated to drums and music.
• Harvesting other users' data, accessing the site automatically at a volume that disrupts it, or trying to get around DrumTab's security.
• Manipulating likes, followers or other site metrics.

6. Suspension and termination

We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, with or without prior notice depending on how serious the violation is. You can stop using DrumTab and ask us to delete your account whenever you want.

7. The service "as is"

DrumTab is provided as is and as available. We do our best to keep it running, but we do not guarantee that the site will always be available or error-free, or that tabs published by users are accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the site or for content published by users. Nothing in these terms limits rights the law grants you that cannot be waived by contract.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The last-updated date appears at the top of this page and, if the change is significant, we will let you know on the site or by email. Continuing to use DrumTab after a change means you accept the new version.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.
